The New Golden Mile runs from the end of Puerto Banús and Guadalmina to the border with Estepona. The name was chosen deliberately as a counterpart to the classic Golden Mile in Marbella: less history, but plenty of modern development and good access via the coastal road.

The New Golden Mile has grown in recent years into one of the most popular areas anywhere on the Costa del Sol, with established villa neighbourhoods and resale apartments alongside plenty of new-build complexes built for outdoor living: large terraces, shared pools, and often sea views.
Golfers find several courses close together here, including Guadalmina and Los Flamingos, and the beach is never far away.
The pace here is slower than in Marbella or Puerto Banús: less nightlife, more families and those seeking calm who still want to be close to all amenities.
